Mr. Badstuber, which predominates for you: the joy of reaching finals or the sorrow, because you can not be there yourself?
Badstuber: I feel both. It's almost like last year, because I was lock out of the final because of my yellow card, unfortunately, unable to attend - except that this time I have played a total less. That's quite bitter. You work your best to be able to play the final, and then it does not work. On the other hand, I am confident that I can achieve it in the coming years once again with such a great team!
Bayern Stars privat: Have you seen the pros as before? You are a fan of your colleagues?
Badstuber: The club is in the foreground, we can achieve something huge and set records for decades. And of course, I still feel a part of this team. London is a great experience for us all!
If the team gets the triple, then it creates something that not even the great Bayern stars of the 70s succeeded.
Badstuber: Yes, this is something special for every player that is something for the history books! Everyone wants to make its contribution. We can be proud of it. Now it's just about doing just that - even if it is rock hard. But with our approach it is possible.
Last year you were missing in the final because of the yellow card, but you were very close. What happens to a player just before the big final?
Badstuber: Important games come at Bayern very often, but clear: This is not something completely different. Since it tingles in one, because one feels that something special lies ahead. And you realize that everyone is ready to tackle it.
How to run as from the recent workouts? Pulling more back in the duel?
Badstuber: We must carry on as normal, we may not withdraw. But of course, It would do great if every player try not hurt his opponent. Its quite normal that you can not do all that. But a normal, healthy hardness must also be there - the voltage must be held high! And we do it that way.
As it stands for your healing process? How's the knee?
Badstuber: It is piece by piece, it takes time to rebuild. I work hard and am now looking just as it precedes.
What is the goal?
Badstuber: I want to be fit for the start of training. I have this claim.
Fit for Pep and the first season game?
Badstuber: Exactly. That is what I want.
